Currently FAFS is recruiting for the following positions:

RFA (Resource Family Advocate): Monmouth/Ocean
Designated Area: Atlantic/Cape May/ Middlesex County

To provide support and advocacy services to licensed resource families within an assigned geographic area. Provide support to resource family applicants within the licensing process. To promote, develop and maintain positive relations between FAFS, resource families and the Division of Youth and Family Services to enhance the foster care and adoption experience. To serve as a liaison to assigned FAFS volunteer committees and provide administrative support as needed. To perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Support Services.

Requirements:
Education/Training/Certifications:BA in related field preferred, or Experience considered in lieu of degree; Valid NJ D.L.

Executive Assistant to Development and Communications Department:
Assist Director of Development with the implementation of fund development plans as developed by FAFS Fund Development Committee. Plans may include but are not limited to solicitation appeals, special events, grant writing, and public relations campaigns, etc. Act as staff liaison to FAFS and FAFS Foundation on fundraising matters. Take a leadership role in organizing and executing fundraising events.

Requirements
Education/Training/Certifications:BA in related field
Special Equipment/Skills:Excellent oral, writing and presentation skills. Must be well organized, have attention to detail, and able to work on several projects simultaneously. Must possess a working knowledge of Donor Perfect or comparable fund development software as well as Microsoft office software (Excel, Publisher, Word, Power Point and Access). Mathematical skills are necessary.
